Lieke Romeijn () is a photographer and artist from Netherlands, currently based in Amsterdam. Lieke is a creative, sensitive and artistic soul, who expresses herself through her paintings and photography. Her style is instantly recognizable, which is a true value for the artist, in our opinion.

We had several collaborations with her and couldn’t be happier with the results. We always enjoy finding different perspectives and angles in our work, therefore, it was truly wonderful to see our clothes through her eyes. A completely different mood and feelings than we are used to, captured in her photos, allowed us to prove to ourselves once again, that we all see the world so differently, and art is a perfect tool to clearly witness that.

To us, her work really stands out in its ability to portray timelessness of the captured image. It perfectly matches with the brand identity of notPERFECTLINEN – slow fashion, naturalness, being close to nature. She managed to grasp the essence by choosing a different perspective, which was surprising even to us.

Calmness and freedom – these states are not the opposites, they can easily co-live together, making a perfect harmony, if we allow ourselves to. The same with notPERFECTLINEN clothes – it is all about allowing ourselves to be who we are, and forming a harmonious human being.

It’s all about being unique and not afraid to stand for what you believe. Art is an amazing tool enabling to freeze the precious moments for eternity. Moments of youth, love, growth. It sees through us and reveals the true essence of our inner selves. It’s always beneficial to see yourself through someone else’s eyes, as we often tend to live in a kingdom of distorting mirrors.
